Governance
The Irish Video Game Orchestra is governed by a board of trustees who are responsible for the strategic direction, financial oversight, and charitable mission of the organisation. All trustees serve in a voluntary capacity and are committed to the advancement of the arts, music education, and community development through the medium of video game music.
IVGO is a registered charity in Northern Ireland (NIC108928), regulated by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. Our charitable purposes are the advancement of the arts, the advancement of education, and the advancement of community development.

Governance Statement
The board meets regularly to review financial performance, approve expenditure above agreed thresholds, and ensure the organisation operates in accordance with its charitable objects. Minutes of trustee meetings are retained and available on request. IVGO files annual accounts and a trustee annual report with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland.
IVGO is committed to transparency in its governance. The organisation operates a conflicts of interest policy and all trustees declare any interests at the start of each meeting. Decisions are taken collectively and no single trustee has sole authority over significant financial or strategic matters.
